&lt;p&gt;The model price is the most you should pay for the stock when you purchase it.  So, you would not buy it at a higher price even if your average purchase price is still at or below the model price.  That would mean for those shares purchased above the model price, you would have paid too much.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>Great tutorial.  I just tried it out today for the first time on a stock I am looking at and will be posting about it soon.  Naturally, it will pay homage to your model price system.

My question is this, would the model price be based on average share price based on shares purchased?

Meaning if I bought 1000 for $4 and the model price is $6, can I continue to buy 1000 shares at $7.00 since that would only raise average purchase price to $5.50?</description>
